What are your top five favorite "sleeper" or underrated coins?

    Hi Paul,

    By "sleeper" I assume you mean underpriced. There some coins that have not run up in price as much as many of the "hot" series. These great series would seem to me to have the most upside...

    1. Matte Proof gold, 1908-1915
    2. Peace dollars (nobody cares about them now, but this is a great set)
    3. Early U.S. gold coins, 1795-1838
    4. Early U.S. copper, 1793-1857
    5. Mint state 19th century silver type coins.
    6. Silver commemoratives, 1892-1954

    Oops, that's 6!
