  • Russ......If you price your coins the way you priced mine....
send me your list .......I am a BUYER.
  • Check Ebay auctions and the Heritage auction archives. That should give you a good indication to what they sell for.

  • Thanks Brian.......I couldn't find any past or current sale on ebay.

    I will try heritage........

You think a coin that had a mintage of a billion or so, and has 76 grade examples and climbing rapidly is worth more than $50? Geez, and I was being generous.

Michael: I will buy the coin from you for $150 sight-unseen today if you confirm via PM.

You better jump on that quick. The last one to sell on Teletrade went for $130 almost a year ago when the pop was a hell of a lot lower than it is today.

Wondercoin......thanks for the offer but I will pass.

Russ...........Relax.......If someone wants to pay over $200 for this coin, why should it bother you?

I knew you would, but, at least it got people thinking about your coin and "research" flowing for you.

  • Wondercoin........thanks, I do appreciate it.

I can't find any past sales anywhere but looking at sales for
other states quarters with similar populations I believe this one
should be worth 300 minimum to someone that knows
what it is and has a need.

I did find a Kentucty D MS67 that sold on ebay for $271 and had
a higher pop......124/9 compared to 76/0 on this one.

I probably will not sell it unless I see an offer I can not refuse.
I am thinking with 4 years of grading on the 2000s there won't
be a new flood of coins going to this grade. I also beleive prices
will continue to rise for these low pop and top pop states quarters.
    Slowly maybe but surely.

    Thanks for your input.

Michael: There are now 120 Registered MS State quarter collectors of which 86 folks are 50% or more complete! I personally like pop 76/0 state quarters as well. Not as much as I like pop 1/0 or 2/0 pattern Shield or Liberty nickels from the 19th century, or pop top silver Wash quarters, but, the state quarters are cool in their own right as well.

I seriously considered building a Registry set of the state quarters myself late last year, but felt (among other things) it was more important to me personally to, once again, build out the 1965-1998 portion of the MS Clad Wash quarters. I have little doubt there will be a "global" 1932-1998 all inclusive Silver & Clad Wash quarter Registry collection in the year(s) ahead and I also suspect it will likely be a highly popular collection. I want to ensure a top spot in that future collection (at least for a short while) image

Doesn't bother me a bit. I hope you get that and more, particularly if you're fleecing Wondercoin. image

They were sold on eBay a month ago or more. I've been keeping track to get an idea on pricing as I upgrade my set.

Edited to add: My 100th post! Only took me 2 yearsimageimage
