1847-D 2 1/2 Can Anyone Figure This Out?

Not that I would bid but is this not an odd way to "pitch" your coin?

    Its in a ngc slab I belive graded au58 but it looks more like a 50-55.
    Typical looking D mint gold.
    No idea of the current value of that date.

    Thanks for the fixed link - wow, if that coin is really worth that why would you not get it graded - I would be nervous about paying that much for a raw coin on ebay.
