Something strange happened on the way back from the coin store today...

On the way home from the coin store today, an attractive young lady sat next to me at the bus stop. Trying to be friendly, I turned to her and said,

"Honey, would you like to see my groat? It's nice and shiny...You can touch it if you hold it carefully by the edges."


She turned red, said "How dare you!", and stormed off.

    You could also use "joey," "tanner" or "bob" if you had a 4d, 6d or shilling. (They also call 3ds "joeys").
