Question about 1996 SAEs

Hi,
I was wondering if the year 1996 SAE was a low mintage year? I ask because it seems that asking prices for this year is more than other years.

Mintage a few hundred thousand fewer than any other low year

Yes, 1996 mintage was only 3.6 million while most other years
were anywhere from 5 to 11 million. Hence the markup in price !
