Congratulations to me - UPDATE

I have awarded myself the not-so-coveted prize Dork of the Week.

How did I earn this?

Well, I bought some coins off an internet site and sent them to...my parents' house in Colorado.

It's my mom's birthday today. Her present did not arrive, but the coins sure did.

Can't you just claim that those were your gift to her - - that it's NEVER too late to show an interest in the Darkside?imageimage

In light of these circumstances, Perhaps a Dork of the Week column could be added to the darkside... but just for those special situations that warrant the honor so it does not get over used to the point that there is no meaning or honor associated with it.image

    Nope. Colorado.

BTW what happened is that both addresses were on file. Sometimes I ship there when I'm planning a trip to CO. Problem was this time I didn't check the shipping address.image

I like them all, but the 1893 shilling ranks as my favorite. Fully lustrous but with a subtle tone.

Not only that, all four fill holes.

Wow nice coins, but did your mom's gift ever show up?
