Two Nice Coins, Two Great Dealers
![Pushkin](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/userpics/805/nDKG7WY6K4TGR.jpg)
I'm in the process of putting together an NGC registry set of MS/PR Flying Eagle cents, with the best possible eye appeal and similarity of tone and color for the coins, yet that is still affordable. Thanks to Mark Feld (Coinguy1) of Pinnacle Rarities and Rick Snow of Eagle Eye Rare Coins I've had the good fortune to add two Flyers to my set. Good dealers can really make a difference, and both Mark and Rick have worked with me to help make my growing set of Flyers possible.
The 1857 is a PCGS MS65 and The 1858 is a PCGS MS64 LL (large letters, low leaves - a scarcer die combination). These are scans, not digital images, but they do a fair job of showing the coins' detail. However, the mint luster does not show well, but it is there, in spades, on both coins. The 1858 has a minor strike through above the eagle's wing below "AT" of STATES, and a few small marks in the fields. The slab of the 1857 needs a little Scratch Away at 5:45 o'clock

Goose,
Good question. Yes, it looks like it is.
You dog...........Those are great, congratulations....Last month I congratulated you on your 1856. You are building a very important set. Look luck with the 58/57...I'll let you know if I see one that's to your liking...
I'll PM you later regarding Rick's recommendation.

MFH,
Thanks, but I have a 58/7, it's in an ANACS slab. I'm not going to post it until I cross.

Actually, I'm very well "set". I have the S7, S8 and S9 for 1857 (the multidenominational clashes). I just need to get a couple of coins crossed from ANACS, then I'll post the complete set.
The 1857 really completes my goal - for now anyway
<< <i> Looks like you got an even better deal on that '57 now huh!!? >>
You bet Goose. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
It is I George from North Dakota!!! Yes I finally started posting!!! I'm down to just the 1873 to finish my IHC collection thanks to you and Rick Snow.
Again AWESOME!!!
