1971 Terry Bradshaw PSA 9

Hi all

Has anyone seen one of these up on Ebay or know where I can get one? I've never seen this one on ebay nor the 1972 Topps #150.

Take care,

Jeff

  • There actually was one up on ebay a few months ago, the first rookie in PSA I had ever seen, cant remember what it sold for though.

  • Hi Jeff,

One sold on Ebay about two months ago for $3350. I all most bid on the card. It just didn't look that strong of a 9 to me. I would be a serious player on a real nice 9. And I would love to just get a close look at the only PSA 10. Are you looking for this card for your set or for a client? If you do run into one I would be interested in how much it costs you.

    Good Luck,
    Ed

  • I've only seen a PSA-9 Bradshaw up for sale a few times on ebay. That is one TOUGH card to find in 9, heck even a nice 8 is hard to find. I did a quick look at the pop report and there are only 7 Bradshaw rookies graded 9!!!!

    Hey Jeff,
Your 81 and 84 fleer Franco Harris's were shipped today.

  • Ed, I tought the card looked good. Did you request a larger scan? Get a better look?

  • Hey Jeremy,

How have you been? I hope the new year has been good to you. I didn't request a larger scan. Maybe I should have. I went mostly on the scan provided and the font sizes on the label. I think strategically the seller did themselves a diservice by starting the auction at $3000. It is amazing how caught up one can get by being in the auction at any price. I guess for $3350 I would probably have been a buyer if I could have held it in my hand. I'm sure it was a sweet card regardless. Let me know when you get any other PSA 9's in your inventory.

    All the Best,
    Ed
  • Will do, just bought a rather large lot of raw 71 - sure to be some 9s. - and plenty of 8s.
Couldn't tell too much from the small scan but the centering looked good. There will be another, I hope!

We will talk real soon, thanks - Jeremy

  • Hi Ed:

I was looking for the card for my personal collection. I've been looking for a long time for real good PSA 9. There's 7 of 'em out there. I just hope they aren't in collections like mine (once there never sold).

Have you seen the 1972 #150 in PSA 9? That one I've never seen.

  • I just looked at the Population Report and there are 10 Psa 9 Rookies and 2 yes 2 PSA 10 1971 Terry Bradshaw Rookie Cards out there. Im sure this 2nd one will make the price of the PSA 10 Bradshaw go down. I was figuring if you only had the PSA 10 Bradshaw it would sell for like 25 to 30k in my estimates. When i got my 9 there was only 5 in existance now that number doubled.
  • Are you sure the last Ebay 9 went for 3400. I thought it went for 4300?
  • The last one on Ebay went for $5355 there was the pic and price in Aug 2005 Football Beckett and I was also watching the auction myself. I had my Bradshaw for about 4 Years now I believe. Its safe to say it goes cheap for about $3200 to about $5500 in sales i seen over the past few years. I remember I once bid over 5,000 and lost the bid.

Here you go. Sold last month in Superior's auction for $4,484.
