It is a pattern. No I dont own one but somebody does I think on the boards. Yes I have held one.

Pretty cool coin but WAY over rated in my opinion.

A beautiful Proof-66 (NGC) 1879 Flowing Hair Stella was just consigned to ANR's June sale in Chicago. The piece had been in the same family collection since the 1920s -- a beautiful item! A Proof-67 (PCGS) 1879 Flowing Hair Stella in ANR's July 2003 sale set a new record for that issue -- $293,250.
