Prices going Up Up Up

Anyone else noticing the surge in price for PSA cards?
I am still buying the same card years I was 2 years ago, and I think prices have gone up 25-50 % across the board. Now most of my buying has been through EBAY. My theory is this. 2 years ago, EBAY boasted 50 million users. Their latest # of claimed users is 90 million!!! Thats quite a few more eyes looking at stuff you want. Competition is getting fiercer. The USA population is about 290 Million, which means almost 1 out of every 3 people is a registered EBAY user....that's astonishing! And that doesn't even take into consideration shared accounts. Congrats to any of you guys that have bought and kept product from a few years ago, you have made a great investment. I know several wax pack examples that have gone up 100% in 2 years or less.
So, trying to stay ahead of the curve, I have actually started to develop contacts for product, instead of relying on EBAY to provide what I need. I am even considering attending the Nationals, and I do not consider myself a big collector. I see vintage product going up up up and never looking back.
Thanks for reading my ramble, just frustrated from losing many auctions last night with aggresive bidding.

If I'm selling it's worthless.
The price of those 9s should make the price of 10s go up!
At the very least you have lived to fight another day - prices have always been a little stronger in Jan/Feb.
What was different about last year was that that turned into a strong summer and weak winter, in FB it's usually just the opposite.
Which leads me to believe that there really isn't a strong pattern in pricing, not one that I can track at this point.
Keep on rockin!
