A good way to pick up bargains on ebay

i just barely lost this 1961 Fleer Blanda PSA 9 on ebay. i know little about older football, but the closing price of $117.50 has to be a bargain since the SMR is $45 for a PSA 7.

if you ever get bored, try typing in "PSA8" or "PSA9" into ebay's search engine; i've found many bargains over the last few years because of this listing error.

I have always done a search of psa*. The astrick picks up any auction with psa in the title whether it is in another word or not.

It also picks upwords like psalm. On all my bookmarks (over 200) i have psa* with the category sports-trading cards.

I've gotten MANY a bargain using my psa* search...lol

Most people don't use it though, which means less competition on the ERR-listed cards...

  • just FYI-

there is a 1935 National Chicle Homer Griffiths PSA 5 on ebay with the same listing error. its at $45 right now, no clue if that's a bargain or not.
