Relayer just did a "Guess the grade" on a proof Barber half which has some similarities to one I own, so I won. Even though the prize was supposed to be "nothing", and I guessed the grade in a roundabout way, he chose to award me with this medal (probably the hole had something to do with that selection. I can't imagine why... LOL)



I don't generally put post-1900 coins, or non-coins on my Holey Coin Vest, but I might have to make an exception in this case. My paternal grandmother was born in 1911. Or I might just put it on my keychain. Love that reverse.

I've been seeing more giveaways and less bickering on the Liteside lately, it seems. It's still the Liteside. But there have been some rays of Dark-style generosity shining over there a bit.

Yep, Glenn. I guess I will make an exception, and put this on the vest. Wouldn't wanna mess it up too badly on my keychain, I guess.

He just bought it from England, and is gonna see if the seller will ship it direct to me. I told him that if he wanted to keep it, he should, since I doubt he was thinking of me or my vest when he bought it, but I do like it a lot.

Neat medal LM! The design on the reverse is one of the nicest ones I've seen for the coronation of George V.

I could not find it catalogued in Brown's British Historical Medals
