Looking for help regarding Ford--Punt Pass and Kick Autographed footballs.

I have been approached by a guy ....via phone....That says he has a 1961 autographed Green Bay Packer football.
It says Winner 1961 Ford Motor Co. Punt Pass and Kick. He says sigs. are not stamped...but I am not so sure.
Its a Macgregor football. My questions are can this be legit......or is it a stamped football. I have seen other stamped Packer footballs from 1965. What year did PP and K start?

I can tell you that I was involved in the Pass, Punt & Kick Program in the early 1970's and it was sponsored by Ford (have the trophies to prove it). As to its existence in 1961, I think a call or letter to the NFL publicity office would get you the answer you are seeking.
