THOUGHTS ON CROSS-OVER GRADES??

On one of the sets I am working on I have a chance to pick up a number of cards from GAI at a very good price.
Just curious what people's views are on cross-over grading and what results have been gotten by going from GAI to PSA??

    On GAI crosses I've done well. I can't say I have extensive experience on crosses but off the top of my head I can think of 6 cards that crossed straight across without bumps in any direction.

    I seem to have my biggest problems crossing SGC.

    I have had five GAI cards crossover four came out equal one went from a 7 to a PSA 8. I considered myself lucky. I have not had luck with crossing over BVG or BGS, they either come back the same or they won't meet minimum grade. I am about to send in 25 SGC crossover 1972 topps football, I hope they do well.

    I have had good luck with GAI to PSA. My best was a GAI 8 1959 Topps #330 Gus Triandos that I crossed to a PSA 8 about a year ago. It is one of Pop 6 which is the lowest pop in the 1959 set. I have a pic of it on my registry set. I was really happy about that one!
