Is there a grading service that uses letter grades (A, B, C, D, F)?

Everyone refers to GRADING of cards to deterimine condition. That being said, is there a grading service that uses a letter grade instead of a number (1-10 or 1-100)? For example:

A+: Pristine
A: Gem Mint
A-: Mint

B+: NrMt-Mt
B: NrMt
B-: ExMt

C+: Ex
C: VgEx
C-: Vg

D+: Good
D: Fair
D-: Poor

F: Counterfeit, Trimmed, Recolored/rebleached borders, or other such altercations

I was just curious.

Hmmm not a bad idea. They can call it "Report Card Grading" I can here it now "I've got an RCG C-" I think this way they can even give your collection a GPA.image

Thats really not a bad idea at all. Could hear the bragging rights, "My Jordan collection has a 3.9 GPA", "Well, I've got a 4.0" If the company graded fairly and didn't give out all A+'s, I'd be buying them. Surprised no one has tried this yet.

Good idea Estil, but I honestly don't see it happening with the big 3-4 grading companies. They are already set on the number-type grading and changing wouldcause quite a stir I would think. It would be a great idea though for a startup grading company!
