eBay remains a good source though a lot more digging is required now. I would actually like to buy more locally but very little of any quality seems to come in anymore.

common and semi key from local stores and shows. Hard to find stuff from ebay.

Depending on the kinds of coins you want and if you wish toned or untoned

you have to select specialized dealers. Tell them what you want and they will get it for you.

They will go to auctions , buy from dealers and collectors and just may have what you want

sandbagged in the bank vault. Watch on the Forum ,who the great coins are purchased from

and you will know where to look.Good luck in your hunt.

I use a metal detector to find those NGC graded or PCGS graded coins that hopefully some collector foolishly lost in a public park or other common area.

So far I have found many modern clad coins, and more aluminum pull tabs than I care to remember, but I am still hoping to dig my first PCGS graded coin!

Ebay, internet sites, local shops and shows and collector friends who give me first dibs when they are ready to sell.
