That's a bit too far for me but I do plan on going to the Pittsburgh ANA. Hope to see you there.

I'll be there on Saturday for what it's worth. I think it is being held at the convention center.
  • PQ Peace, The show is, I think at the Oregon convention center. This is a short walk (couple of blocks max) from the LLoyd center Doubletree. Cacheman's going to the big city? Is Mitchell getting too small?

I live in Portland as well, so will definately make it a point to make it out for one of the days. I'm going to try and drag my wife to the show as well! Offhand, I don't recall where it's being held- but perhaps the expo center??

  • I will be there.

It looks like Thursday and Friday for me. From the sounds of it alot of the Dealers will start packing and hit the road after Friday. What a shame but we cannot expect them to work 7 days a week IMO.

I will be living outside of the Portland area by then so even I will have to travel a bit to get there. Much hope is had that our weather will be half decent for the visitors that are going to show up. Nothing like a clear view of Mt. Hood in the early spring when it is covered with snow.

Looking forward to meeting forum members and dealers. This will probably be the Highlight of the whole show for myself. See Ya There......image

    I'll be there!

Anyone care to join me for a winter ascent of Mt Hood before the show?

Thinking about Rainier after the show as well!

Send me a PM if you are interested in the climb!

From the sounds of it alot of the Dealers will start packing and hit the road after Friday.

I think the ANA requires that each dealer who has a table must have some presence at the table for every day of the show, until around 2 or 4 PM of the final day.

For those who live on the East Coast, this means that many won't get home until well after midnight. This is especially bad because I think the show goes until Sunday, and Monday is a regular work day where dealers scramble to image and list coins, send out newsletters and sort through the paperwork. (The vast majority of this you cannot do on the plane; if you have some privacy -- like in 1st class -- then you can't touch the paperwork.)

Anyone know of any dealers that'll be there selling Darkside goods? Primarily German?
  • mdwoodsmdwoods Posts: 5,546 ✭✭✭
Here are the dealer listings. I really couldn't say who might have Darkside stuff.
