11/17 Grades almost Ready!

I called today, and was told that my order received on 11/17 was in verification and slabbing. That means they have already been graded, which I assume is the lengthy part of the process. Anyone have any idea how long the verification and slabbing process takes?

I hope so. I'm a small time collector, but my coins still get me pretty excited. I can't wait to see how badly they graded!

They actually have been known to spend two to three weeks in verification. You might be getting close, though. I had a submission from 11.13 post three days ago.

The last several times I was told it was in verification, it was finished the same day, so who knows. Check your emails around $8:30 tonight. If you have email from PCGS, then your grades are ready. I used to call every day after a few weeks and each time it was, "its in grading", I would get that for like three or so days and then on the last day, I would be told it is in verification.

My last submission sat in finalization from 12/15 to 1/7.....23 days. Doesn't seem right.....coin are graded and slabbed already.....why does it take 23 days to nake everything was done correctly (final inspection)????? Heck of a way to run a railroad.

Well, I called again today, and now they say they're in FINAL verification, and should ship in a couple of days. Must mean that their slabbing process is backed up, if it took them that long to be encapsulated, um ... I mean bodybagged. It's been so long I forgot what they looked like. It will be like getting new coins when they finally arrive.
