......once again.

I have a simple Web site that I have not really been updating much because of my camera problems, BUT, I did have a hit counter installed.
Yes it was a freebie but was working fine and now has GONE.

Now the Hit Counter is just to promote my ego but I would like to know where I can get a new "free" one.

After having approx. 1100 hits I can start over with the counting...image, but I don't like to.

Did I mention this was shameless?....... and 200% OT..?

    Are you pulling my chain? Seiously, when I go there it does NOT open and I can see from the status bar on my screen it is "trying", and that takes a lot of time, to finally not open.

    Now boz, that is a question I have NO idea how to answer.

    How does one update their javascript? And why would mine just stop working? These are REAL questions.

    Those people that write those programs are always updating them with new revisions, If you do not go up to websites that can give you updates(Microsoft,Java(SUN), CNET )your puter will be out of date and not work with some newer program revisions.

    Well, Boz, it is only my own site I am having this problem with (as far as I know). Several people on here have told me that the counter works OK for them but it is not viewable for me.

    I just am confused and I can see that I am making a pest of myself again.

    Is it an honesty.com/Andale counter, by any chance? I have one of those, and since you were on the topic of counters, I went to check my eBay page, and... guess what? It ain't displaying. Happens sometimes when Andale is down for whatever reason, or updating, or who knows what.

    Mine was a freebie from nex..sumthin....... It worked fine for a long time and now the past 4-5 days I can not see it. Others on here say they can so...........

    I recon it is a Free Counter Conspiracy (sp) against me....image

    It does upset me even if I try I can't fix it (for me )

    Wait a Sec!!!! I was and am not not looking for hits. I just wanted to be able to see what it count was.

    Are you sure you folks are not just foolin' me?

    I truely can NOT see my counter and if this continues I will delete it and try to find another "freebie counter"

    Thanks for all the comments. I may be trying something wrong but I really don't think so. If I even go to one of my reply posts and clik my linky in the sig I get the same problem.

    Glenn, I got a lot of other "boats" I will put up when I work out my cam problem.
