AU-58 (cleaned)
My posts viewed times
since 8/1/6
AU is always hard to tell from scan. Has almost all its detail, looks AU55-58. Could be harsh lighting on the scan but it does look like perhaps it was dipped.
Brian - Sure, AU coins have lots of detail, but why not take a more simple minimalistic approach to collecting? It is all the rage you know, here is one that I am sure you would love.
This baby is for sale as we speak right now on EBAY!

You're right! I found a Superior letter from my mail today and thought I lost the auction over couple of dollars but that was their premiums they've added.. I wanted to post the pic here for an opinion before I make up my mind so if it is cleaned this baby is going back. Anyone know Superiors refund policy? I couldn't find anything on their site..

Nice pick - up. Looks like a 58.
Couldn't see any signs that it was cleaned. Its got nice light rim toning on the obverse, however, the spot on Liberty's cheek should be taken care of at NCS before it develops into something worse.
I thought you were concentrating on XF 40 - 45 to AU 50 - 53 coins. This coin is alot nicer than what you've shown us so far. Remember the uniformity of the set also makes it more attractive. If you start spiking the set with better graded coins, the others will pale by comparison, and in the long run, you'll want to upgrade what you already have.
