Is there such thing as a focused Cards Clubbers? I have owned six of these and none
of them have sharp focus, even most of them weren't actually flagged as OF
Perhaps I'm the rare person who will take the better focused card over the card with
better corners? (In the list of graded cards I keep I indicate (F) for focus problem that
bothers me even if not included in the official grading.
How about some other 1967's hard to find in focus?
Coming to mind right away:
4 Hal Lanier
16 Bill Hands
30 Al Kaline
33 A's rookies
60 Luis Aparicio
90 Jim Nash
100 F. Robinson
108 Alex Johnson
just for starters. For all the good things about 1967 topps, once you get to know
it there are still some problems
Even the Mantle could be better focused IMHO - have owned nearly a dozen 8's over the
years and unfortunately the best focused one arrived in a BGS-8 holder that PSA indicated they
wouldn't give an 8 in crossover

1967and 1973 Topps baseball wantlists (any condition) welcome. Once had the #14 ATF 1967 set. Yet another collector like skylaneflyer, gimel1 who made it to the completion of 1967 only to need the money more than the company of 609 close friends.
Looking for oddball Norm Cash and Cleon Jones stuff, and 1956 team cards

I remember buying these cards back in 67 - the first BB cards I ever bought. Still remember buying a cello with Lou Brock on top. This is still one of my favorite cards.
Funny thing about this latest effort of mine - I actually think I will finally stick to collecting one set to the finish. I have started several sets, and have dreamt about starting countless others but this one I will finish. I am at 30% right now and plan on being 50% by mid summer and 75% by year end.
Toppsgun, EJ and Acowa have all played a hand, as well as Jay. He is my card consultant.
You know like 'WHK Cleveland, 1420 Sports").
In fact if you let me play a hand in your game and know where to get a good burger at this hour,
I'd not only drive, I'd buy. (Sorry, Wendy
Paul, with 22 1967 Bob Lockers and Dave Giustis to choose from for that ungraded set
