Experimental planchet SQ weight? ??

I read somewhere about some Statehood quarters being struck on experimental planchets and they had the weight of these listed. Does anyone know the weight of them or where I could read about them? Am I right that the normal SQ weight is 5.67 grams? I also have a 1981 d quarter that I believe is missing the entire clad layer, what is the normal weight of this coin , and how much difference would it be if the clad layer is missing? thanks

I'm not familiar with any experimental planchets for the states quarters. They did
switch to a 1% thinner gauge clad for the quarters at the beginning of 1999 though.

The weight for the '81-D should be around 5.67g for a regular coin.

The clad layer on a quarter weighs approx. 1 gram. A coin missing a layer should weigh around 4.67 give or take a tenth!!
