Hi Guys. I have come to the reality that I would need to be willing to sell my 1965 Topps set to go after a 1955 Topps set. I have been working on a 1956 Topps set and have recently gone over 53% complete. I am trying to complete in a PSA 7 commons/PSA 6 stars set format. I'm not rolling in money so this is a big investment for me. I can't help but look (almost every day) at the beautiful 1955 Topps set as a secondary set. I'm thinking that perhaps I could do that one in a PSA 6 commons/PSA 5 stars format. I can't afford to do both without having a greater cash flow that I have now. Therefore, I need to be willing to sell my 1965 Topps set which is 23.08% complete and has a 7.35 GPA (I just added some cards today so it will take a couple of days to update to these numbers). The set now has 138 cards in it and has an SMR vaue of almost $2,000. I would be interested in hearing your comments on this choice and if anyone is interested in the 1965 Topps set, it is listed in 22nd place under the name Neil B. Downey and Sons Collection.
