.. could you please stop changing your sig icons so quickly? I've missed quite a few of the diary's entries and I'd like to hear more stories about them. Like that half cent.

I only have a dozen or so "Digger's Diary" pics uploaded, so I try to rotate 'em. There are 260-odd coins in my dug coin album, but most ain't worth imaging (i.e. common silver Roosies or corroded dug Indian cents), so the numbers will not run consecutively. The numbers are chronological by the date of the find. I have made no additions to my dug coin album since Halloween of 2002. (Coin #263.)
No, wait- there was an 1890's Indian cent in October of 2003, on my last vacation trip to the Carolinas. That would be Coin #264 if I had it imaged. I have not yet finished imaging my more interesting coin finds, much less the relics like buttons and Civil War bullets and so on.
There is a master thread on the Detector Forum that shows all the new sig line pics so far.
Do y'all find them interesting at all, or are they just distracting? I thought it would be something fun to do with my finds, since I am unable to detect anymore (my trusty 12-year-old detector finally died and I just never have time to go out, anyway, though I will eventually get a new machine for those rare outings.)
Back when I was between marriages and living the life of a bachelor hermit, detecting was about all I did in my free time.

Yeah, I originally had borrowed a picture of the Pink Chapel for that "Dug Versus Bought" thread, since I don't have one of my own (Google Image Search). The owner of the image somehow found out I'd posted it and was not pleased I was stealing his bandwidth, or whatever- he sent me a testy email and deleted the picture. I suppose he had a right to be peeved. I deleted the picture of that 1837 large cent large cent from my database because I made an updated "Digger's Diary" version of it. Guess I need to edit that old thread and stick the new picture in.
