Blanchar and Teletrade

Which is better to buy rare certified MS coins? Any opinions on these places?

One consideration is if you live in NJ or NY, Teletrade charges sales tax (but with line 59 on the NYS tax return this year asking you to estimate your internet sales tax you owe ...)

  • I do live in NY. Please explain line 59...thanks!

Start here, at PCGS. Post your want list on the BST forum. There are many knowledgable and honest dealers that visit the boards every day. You'll get the coins you want at a fair market value. Also, enable your PM feature, so that you can have private discussions with sellers.

    We ARE watching you.

Just did my state taxes. I THINK it is line 59, but there is a line on the NYS taxes that says something like "please estimate NYS sales tax that you owe on out of state or internet purchases where tax wasn't collected". I am in NYS too and there is a budget shortage and they are trying to get people to give them more money. I read it carefully and it said "try to estimate". Since I am not 100% sure what is and is not taxed image, I do not feel I am qualified to this so I estimated at $0

  • I thought they gave you guys a chart to use if you are not sure. $75,000 to $100,000 income should pay $36. Yeah, this is enforcable.
