Cameron - It's supposed to be a JOKE. The humorous implication, true to some extent, is that coin collectors tend to spend all of their money on coins, leaving no money for housing. Of course the joke has limited applicability to sample slab collectors.

Hmmmm, that is a good question. I remember losing a girlfriend because I went to a coin show in Cleveland, Ohio instead of taking her out to the afternoon movies and then an early dinner as promised. I thought she was looking for an excuse to get out anyway. So I speak from experience.

After one more girlfriend, I met my future wife who was more understanding.

Now as to the question...........the answer is a rich coin collector unless he is now playing the field. But most coin collectors are one gal at a time collectors!
