What is best place to buy gold coins, dealers, auctions etc? If Dealers are there any reputable ones located on Long Island?

    Any particular grade? MS-65 and up? AU-58 to MS-64? Circulated?

    In that case, stick to coins certified by PCGS, NGC, or ANACS, especially if you are a beginner. As you learn more about the series you are collecting, you will be able to better judge the authenticity and grade of various coins.

    Let me impress this upon you in the strongest way: DO NOT BUY RAW GOLD AS A BEGINNER, unless it's bullion from the US mint. Rare US gold is notorious for counterfeits. You can always crack the coin out, if you don't like it in a slab.
