Why I love that old time SMR magazine.

I've read more than one thread here ragging on the SMR print version. The argument is, basically, why do we need it when we have access to it through the Web?

I'll tell you why.

My Wife.

I discovered this the other night when I was pre-grading my 25 cards for the modern card special. She was pretty stoked that I had managed to pry myself away from the computer and watch TV with her. I was checking out my cards and using that old timey technology and everybody was happy.

Keep my subscription coming! It promotes marital harmony.

cheers,

The SMR is a great magazine to sit at the coffee table with while your girlfriend is giving you the old quiz from a Cosmo magazine telling her about the 10 reasons why a man doesn't pay attention to you.image

The SMR has kept me great company in those idle times,I've been stuck a few places where all you can do is wait around like the Doctor's office, for example.
  • My kids like to cut out the old pictures and glue them onto card board paper to make signs, so I guess for me the old SMR's are cheap entertainment!
