Hi all...
Got a few thoughts about the great players of the 70's and 80's..........
Seems like recently, I have been getting more and more emails from board members, asking about "oddball" player cards...
A Kellogg's here...A Discs there....Maybe even a Squirt card or two.....
We all know that there is a strong following amonst the Schmidt, Rose, and Ryan Registries, ...
BUT....
What about the OTHER great players of that era....Murray, Jackson, Brett, OZ, Yount, Molitor, Ripken, Boggs, Sandberg, and countless others.....Some of these Registries only have 1 set listed..???...
I know there MUST be more out there...
Anyway, on my last PSA order, I included a few hundred player cards that I don't collect myself (Carew, Brett, and Boggs comes to mind...), and I thought I would throw it out the the board and ask.....
Who do you want me to send in.???...
Clemens and Murray and Boggs.....OH MY........
I have 1000's of nice "novelties" sittin' around here...Might as well put them to good use...
Now..Before I have to hire an accountant (there's a hundred or so on this board...ha...) to keep up with all your requests.....I can't help on lesser known players..
Let's stick to the premier players from 1970 to 1990....OK??
I'm listening........
Thanks for your time...
Larry

I would seriously be all over any Ozzie cards. Whether the cards are on the master set or not.
I can never get enough! I got the #1 spot on both basic and master. I've even ventured into some Willie Mcgee cards recently. Feel free to shoot me an email!

Sure...Why not??
I don't have nearly as many football cards. Haven't looked at them for a few years...Most of the cards I have are late 70's to late 90's...
I see a Raiders logo there...Give me some guidlines and I'll see what I can do....
Thanks

You're the man. this would definitely go a long way for me even bothering anymore with PSA.
I just got some Will Clark stuff in high grades that were AWFUL from a very prominent PSA dealer on Ebay. No evidence of doctoring but apparently the graders had a very very off day. One corner was enough to draw a PSA 6 or 7, not a 9 as slabbed. Either it was missed or else some amount of favortism is being shown to certain folks submitting large lots of cards. Im leaning towards it being the latter. Kinda ticks me off.
sorry for the rant
