Value question...Vintage

To the knowledgable guys on vintage.....
Assuming PSA 6 quality, what is the average value of 1970's common cards? To narrow the field, the greatest number is from 1972 and looks picked over relative to "Star" players; certainly there are semi-stars and minor stars. The best player I've seen so far is Juan Marichel and second year cards of Greg Luzinski and Garry Maddox.
Again...just looking for ballpark ( excuse the pun ) estimate on typical card.
Thanks

i would venture to say that most common cards of the '70's wouldn't get back your $5-$6 grading fee.
If your talking about raw ungraded stuff, look at the Beckett guide and take at least 50% off the NM/MT price listed on that year and series...jay
