Where can I find industry related reports?

Hello,

I'm interested to find out where to obtain any industry wide reports on the sports memorabilia and specifically the sports and non-sports card marketplace and industry. I'm looking for macro-level information on things like:

1. Competitive landscape (manufacturers, # of brands, revenues for public companies)
2. Relationship of card manufacturers to Major sports leagues
3. Customer segmentation of sports card buyers (# of cards produced, # of collectors, demographics)

I work in the IT industry and there are companies like Gartner Research and IDC that create and publish industry reports on various IT hardware and services products. Is there someone out there doing that today for sports collecting and memorabilia?

Any/all resources would be useful.

No one does that. Your best bet is to read the analyst report on Topps. Upper Deck, Donruss, and Fleer are private companies.

I wrote a paper in B school concerning the card market, and found there was no reliable industry-wide research available. You'll have to do your own legwork on this one.
