Proof set week on eBay; dates are: 1942, 1972 and 1999-2003

The 1942 set has untoned and bright silver coins including PR 64 Walker, PR 65 Washington and PR 66 Mercury. It is a 5 coin set (no T2 nickel) and PCGS graded. The Nickel is PR 66 with a little good looking gray patina while the Cent is 63 red.

The '72 set has two one sided DCAMs and is nicer looking than one would think by looking at the PCGS grades.

The '02 and '03 sets are very nice, the '99-'01 sets have haze.

Thanks for looking!

  • To The Top!

As always I have most dates of Proof Jefferson nickels on my website.

Looking for raw proof Jeffs? I have several dates and they are inexpensive. Some have a tint of yellow or blue, most are untoned. I also have one or two wild toned ones. PM for more info.
  • Well I'm still trying to learn my new camera. I have new coins to photograph but, well, I haven't image Anyway thanks for the bids on these proof sets!

  • Thanks George. I think you will eventually end up with a super Proof Mercury dime. And you won't need to buy a whole proof set to get one image This Mercury dime has really nice fields on the reverse. I have yet to see a proof Merc with perfect mirror like fields on both sides so if anybody has one let me know, I'm paying above sheet for something like that.

Carl, I didn't see anything I needed this time- or, in the case of the '42 set, anything I could afford, but I did just put a link to your page from mine- figgered I owed you as much. image

  • Thanks for the link LM!! However I think you are wrong. I think I'm the one who owes you. For anyone who hasn't read how LM got 2 1877 Indian Head Cents for $8 they can read his story on my website here. Thanks a ton for the story, I really like your writing.

The '72 set has two one sided cameo coins. The JFK and Washington look pretty durn good for a plain PR 68 grade!

    Thanks for looking.
