Another card off to the chop shop.

Here's another card that will be going to PRO and coming back at least Mint. This guy has to be stopped.
He and T2inc. If you know any other, let's get them listed here, and help put them out of business with their bogus goods.

Sorry, I'm new and not sure how to set up the url.

This guy has to be stopped.

Ice, I agree, but how? People on this board are a finite bunch compared to all the unsuspecting bidders who may not know about PRO - it's kind of like: who do you prosecute? The user or the supplier of drugs? In this case don't you think - in an ideal world - it would be nice if a governing body gave PRO the boot?!!!!image

  • You guys need to chill............... This guy has a business and is just trying to making $$$$. Is what he is doing illegal??? I think Not!
If you don't like PRO then don't buy it.

Whats the real issue hear????? I bet it's that you are just upset because you can't afford to buy all these cards like he does.........

gl - you're wrong. In California, it is illegal by statute to sell an altered sportscard without detailed disclosures as to the alteration. Other states may have similar statutes, and even in the absence of a statute, common-law fraud principles could be used in these transactions (since the seller rather evidently is attempting to deceive buyers into thinking that the cards are unaltered).

If you don't see the potential intent behind what some people do, it's not going to matter what I say - but don't be so presumptuous to know what MY intent is w/o just asking me - I will give you your just due in that area. By the way, there will be no chill at the Superbowl!image

when I sell raw cards, i'm gonna start advertising them as "Get them now! before they're trimmed!"
    ·p_A·
  • BOTTOM LINE....

He is scum. If he wasn't worried about his reputation or selling of trimmed cards he would not have his feedback private, where I am sure he has dozens of negs regarding the trimming of cards.

To say he has a business and is trying to make $$$, so do the prostitutes and drug dealers in most cities, but should we give them a break too? He is just part of a growing number of crooks using ebay to scam people out of cash since they don't have the marbles to try and do it face to face. Not only is he a thief, but a wuss on top of it
    Always wanting odd-ball Nolan Ryan's.

  • Eventually, I believe PRO will be put out of business, and face prosecution. It's only a matter of time until the wrong person gets burned by them, and the scum who sell their junk. ( Like someone in politics, perhaps?) In the meantime, it burns my ass to see these cards forever desecrated for us, the true collectors. And in the long wrong, it will give the hobby a major black eye.
