Franklin Half varieties

Since I an new to collectong the Franklin half dollar can someone tell me about common varieties that carry a premium? Thanks mike image

    Heres where I'm weak in knowledge...

    I never have gotten into Varities...
    I can say that there is a 51s doublie die...
    a 55 Bugs Bunny die clash.... a Few other years are known...

    The 1956 type-2 reverse. About 5% of proof mintage

    Aside from those mentioned there are a few "neo" varieties as well - there are Type I, II, and III reverse varieties for 1957-59 Franklins where the eagle is in different stages of definition, but these aren't recognized yet. There is also die doubling in just about every issue from 48-55, but again, this is very minor and not recognized. There are really very few variants in the series that are recognized. Oh - forgot, there are Bugs Bunny varieties in 51P and 54P as well.
