When submitting, is it necessary to include stickers?

I've been a member of PSA for a long time, and I've submitted a lot of stuff, but with the $5 grading special, I have about 150 cards to send out. I REALLY don't want to write the invoice # and line # on every sticker to put on the back of each card - - I have haerd some people say that it is not necessary.
Is it?
Is it?

I like to follow the rules exactly......and hope for the best!
It’s my understanding that PSA immediately assigns an internal number to the card that stays with the card through the process. I don’t think they would ever let the graders know the invoice numbers we see and track our submissions with, so I would think the stickers are actually removed from the card savers or the stickers are covered.

To save time,
I just write the number directly on the card with a bic.
Of course, that may be why all my cards come back with an MK qualifer ...

Me too. The rest of you need to stop being so lazy and be nice to those that "rate" your investment
