Real ebay email or not?

Dear Customer,

I recieved this and the link that you are supposed to click on goes to nothing...just a page that cannot be displayed..wondering what it might be or if this is even a real email from ebay.. >.<

    i dunno.. it says you're prohibited from using ebay in any way.. i bet if you tried to bid on something, you would be able to..

  • This is a scam e-mail that has been going around to get User ID's and passwords for EBay and several other things (PayPal included). Best advice is to delete them...by all means don't respond. I was getting 3-4 a week, but now it has almost completely stopped.

  • It's a scam, Pandrews is right on. When in doubt log onto Ebay through Internet explorer and attempt to do just about anything, view your info, transactions or bid on an item. You should never by any means log onto Ebay through a link provided within an email, 99% of them are a scam.image
