1968-D JFK Half

I have a 1968-D JFK half that looks like it's either a proof or there's no silver in it. Both the obverse and reverse are highly reflective. I found it in our $3000 worth of halves this week. Thing is though, I've seen proof silver JFK's 90% and 40%. I haven't seen the silvers proof like this before. If someone could maybe lend some webspace I could put up a decent picture and capture the reflection. You've seen DMPL morgans? Well thats the kind of reflection it has. I have a 1958-D Franklin half as well that is sort of like this. It's not as reflective and no it's not full bell lines, but damn it sure is shiny. Here's as a good a picture as I can get with the 50k limit.

There are some of the 1968-D through 1970-D coins that can come with a very prooflike appearance, most notably the 1970-D. I've seen some that you'd swear were a later strike proof coin.

Frank has one that's really incredible. They are always a surprise when you see one in hand. I've found a few Washingtons that almost look cam.
