Tenth-point grading system being considered

This is what I hear from the voices in my head. I know that I have several PSA 9's that were certain 9.2's or even 9.3's if they had been graded accurately. I'm sure Joe Orlando will come on the board and try to quash this rumor by saying things like, "Everyone knows Vargha is psychotic." Or he'll try to access my sealed medical records again. But I'm telling you, those issues aside, the voices in my head are seldom wrong.

As to his comment about the point system for grading balls, I have absolutely no intention of letting him or any of the current graders touch my balls, much less have to pay them for the privilege to do so.

Unless you have met all his associates, you may have spoken in haste.

Rob, I will change my mind then only if I can specify Anna. I will have to do one of those "on-site" gradings because I sure as heck am not gonna mail them in.

    Vargha,

You will never get them graded because yoiu know they would only get a 2.5. Too much handling, use and abuse.

After seeing what the new head grader looks like, the touching shouldn't
    be a problem.

Having them sonically sealed in the holder -- THAT'S a problem!!

Why stop with a tenth of a point scale, how about a 100 point scale ??

Isn't that what SGC, in some unclear way, originally tried to do ? The idea that an 84 is NM or a 7.0 , a 92 is NM/MT + or an 8.5, Etc. is somewhat unclear to me.

Heck, why not just make it a hundreth of a point grading system. Nothing like those 73.21's...

Will PSA reject them if they are trimmed?

Don't you know anything about baseball, Nick? I would only be submitting hardballs (and then again, only to Anna the new grader).

Vargha - yes, but she would probably give yours an OC qualifier.

Geez Nick, we'd probably be looking at the dreaded "ST" qualifier after she was done examining them.

If she's a grader, I'm gonna submit myself to be "graded" and "slabbed."

As for me I dont believe I would be happy with the initial grade so I would be forced to resubmit over and over and over...

I was going to have mine crossed over, but I get that hot pain thing in my lower belly. I'll just keep 'em slabbed with BVD.
