World Series Grading Results....

Just got off the list of the grading results by the top 2 dealers and noticed this "anomaly" in the list.

Coin #25) 1914-S $20 MS63

Slater gave it a 65 and was docked 2.5 points, Napolitano gave it a 66 and was docked the same 2.5.

How is it that a 2 point miss is the same as a 3 point miss in the grading results? Am I missing something?

was 40 coins worth 2.5 points apiece

most you could lose is 2.5 points per coin MAX

this means if you miss 39 coins and get the AH Kennedy exactly right you get 2.5 points

totally miss the altered surfaces, DCAM, called the 1795 half a VG8 when it actually is a XF40....

Ok. I was of the impression (from the rest of the grading results)that if you missed a grade by a point, you lost a point, 2 grades---2 points, etc.

So, the most you could lose per coin was 2.5 pts.

    Thanks people! image
