Forgive me, brethren, for I have sinned

I have accepted a job working for a liteside coin company. Bury me not under heaps of scorn-- I am doing it to support my family.

I will be working for North American Certified Trading come next week. Next Tuesday I begin training and learning more about what the job entails. It looks like I'm starting out with sales.

I really like car sales (where I am now), but I don't like having so few days off and almost never being able to eat dinner at home with my wife and daughter. The new schedule will be a relief.

Did you visit the show toady and decide you simply could not live a life without baskets full of seated liberty coinage?image

Actually I got so busy at my current job during my "day off" that I didn't make it to the show at all. I'm pretty sure I won't be going to the show at all as my car sales job is taking all my time.

Your good luck may turn into our good luck too if it frees up more of your time. Any chance
some darkside coins will "walk in the door"?

    Good luck.

  • Congratulations and best of luck, I always wondered what it would be like to work in the realm of your favorite passtime or hobby. I'm not complaining though, my job pays well, and it is not hard labor, but ships and shipyards can get old.....

    Again Congrats.....image

I wonder if this will be like my experience working in a jewelry store back in high school and college. I developed an eye for nicer gemstones and pearls, so now I can't afford what I would want to give to my wife. The stuff I can afford looks like junk to me now. image

After only one day here I'm pretty sure I'm going to be cured of liteside collecting. I've seen lots of nice coins I can't afford, so I'll probably shift my collecting interest even more into deepest, darkest British Africa. image
