There are only about 5 or 6 toned Morgan dollars in Heritage's Sig sale worth buying

and take a look at the prices. 1450 to 1850 for 65 and 66 coins. Compare the toning to the best toning in the FUN sale and you will see that coins with the same great color in the FUN sale brought way less money than the few in this sale are bringing. What gives?

  • there is no way to compare toned coins. Every coin is different, especially digital photos of toned coins.
  • I agree with your assesment about digital photographs, however I believe there is a little bit more to it than that JB. For one thing there are less offerings in the LB Sig sale. Anyway I decided instead of paying 1850 for a rainbow morgan in PCGS 66 that I would instead buy a 1916 S Twenty Saint in MS65. image

  • Hey, JB. Now I know why nice toned Morgans are so hard to get anymore. You have them all listed on your EBAY store! I will get up with you later. image
