On the subject of errors - here's the NH-P I mentioned

The first 2 pics are the same coin, w/different white balance settings - they show a very slight hint of a 'P' mintmark, and the coin is from a minibag. The next photos are from coins I pulled from circulation - you have to look under pretty strong magnification to find even a "shadow" of the P. Do they qualify as error coins?imageimageimageimage

Yes, a filled die is a minor error. The P recess became filled with baked on crud is what happened.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.
  • So PCGS may consider grading it as an error coin? When I talked to them about it, they were pretty vague as to the process of getting a mint error designation.

I wouldn't swear to this in case they changed their policy but I'm pretty sure PCGS wouldn't designate it as an error. They would simply grade it as a normal coin. They only grade major striking errors and that's minor.
