I just recently discovered that Peace Dollars are out there in GSA Packaging...albeit different than the nice CC hard cases the morgans are in. I've seen Peace's in Mint set like plastic pouches with GSA tokens. Does anyone have any pics of these or any info. on these?

I don't have any pictures, but there were Peace Dollars in the mixed non CC category. From what I have been told the majority if not all were 1922-P and 1923-P.

I'm sure Gsaguy has more information on this.

Here's a pick of 2 GSA soft packs. The front coin is a 1878cc Morgan and the rear one is a 1922 Peace Dollar.
Also notice the Blue envelope. It looks almost the same as the "Ike" envelopes.
These softpacks were offered at $3 a peice when the came out. The 78cc was a much better deal!!!!

Yep.... there's going anywhere from $ 40-$ 80 each on ebay.... I've only seen 5 sets in the last 2 years on the bay of E.....

I can't add a whole lot to what's already been said by our experienced forum memebers.

But, for those of you interested, I can send you a date list of known softpack dollars, including Peace dollars.

Van Allen & Mallis reported that 97,591 coins were sold in this category (Mixed Circulated) at a price of $3.00 each. Virtually 100% of the coins were sold with the first offering in June of 1973. A handful were retained in case of errors or warranted returns.

And then there was that single circulated Seated Liberty Dollar that also sold.
