Anyone have details on this Vicky medallion?

I was able to take a few pics recently so I'll probably be bugging y'all with them over next few days imageimage

I got this at the last show here. There was an Unc one too but I liked the look of this old dirty one better. I'm guessing it's a 60th anniversary medallion for Queen Victoria.. any of the Brit experts have more info?
I like it imageimageimage

Yes, it is a medal celebrating the 60th anniversary "Diamond Jubilee" of the reign of Queen Victoria. They are seen on eBay with some frequency in both silver and bronze. I believe there are multiple sizes of each. They may have been made in gold also. Unfortunately, I have not yet bought the volume of Laurence Brown's British Historical Medals 1760-1960 that covers the reign of Queen Victoria. image

I do have 2 of the silver versions of this medal.

About one of these will appear on eBay every month. They are quite popular and ones in nice condition will bring some spirited bidding -- not infrequently going way too high.

Mine (silver, 41 mm) from ebay awhile back, with my first attempts with the family digital camera:

Obviously I need to learn a little more about lighting and software and sizing and backgrounds...but oh what a slippery slope it is. First the coins, then medals, then scanners, then cameras. What next? The fancy lights and a tripod?
