A couple unusual Barber dime errors.

It's hard to believe they're altered.

Both are 1916. The first has an incuse "one dime" in mirror writing upside down on
liberty's face and the rest of the reverse is also present. The reverse has an incuse
obverse design at ninety degrees to the right of the incuse obverse design.

Now it really gets weird. The second coin has an incuse obverse design on the obverse
at 170 degrees. It has another obverse design on the reverse at 180 degrees to the
reverse (or 20 degrees off coin alignment to the incuse obverse).

So there you have it two coins with five heads and three tails. (all five dates visable)

Can't post a pic. Anybody ever see anything like it?

Edited to add_ oops they are probably alterred. They appear so clean they had me fooled.
They must just be pressed together.

Does it look like a few coins were stacked and then hit with a hammer or put in a press? I do stuff like this at work when I get boredimage. mike
