Dansco US Type Set ~ Help Upgrading

Since I'm nearing compleation of my Type Set, I'm trying to upgrade what ever I can. But I'm limited by what's available and my budget. I don't visit my local coin shop very often because I have to earn the money first and I'm more restricted this year on my budget. Therefore upgrading becomes a problem, but I realy want to upgrade some of those "filler" pieces that I have. I have nothing to trade. I have no real doubles of coins, and those that I do hold sentemental value because they were given to me by my grandfather who started on coin collecting... Maybe if your upgrading your type set, or craking out proof sets to send coins in, or you buy in bulk, or you just happen to have an extra hanging around, just maybe you could send me one...


I don't want to ask too much... so I'll just start with the crumiest of my fillers:

IHC Laurel Wreath: 1859, anything better than Good.
Three Cents Nickel: 1865-89, anything better than Good.
Shield Nickel w/Rays: 1866-67, anything better than Good.
Standing Liberty Quarter Type I: 1916-17, anything better than Good.

Also, Proofs for modern coinage, most everything from within the past 50 years.
There are 17 I think, and I currently have 6 of them.

    Scratch that. I've found a way to raise up some extra money... and no, it's not drugs. image


    I'm also thinking about puting together a slabed US type set, like a regestry set. Start with the 20th century and then work my way back.

    I've got me a nice raw one... I've been looking to upgrade it with a nice proof. I've been looking to get myself a nice 1957 Proof Set and replace the 5 in the album with proofs.

    This is my type set. The highlighted coins are the ones that I'm trying to upgrading into some nice proofs. I'm also aiming to get the 20th century coins all uncirculated and the 19th century ones in atleast EF if not AU or BU. I figure that a nice 1957 and 1976 proof set get me half of the coins I want proof and save me a bundle over buying them individually.
