Billy Ripken 1989 Fleer PSA Graded....

I thought I had read in a previous thread that psa doesn't grade this 'obsenity' error.

The flip actually says 'FF Error'.

I almost bid on it as a conversation piece.

    what is the story here.
    WHY wont they grade them?

    is it a censorship thing?

    I have no idea why they won't. I'd love to hear the reason why as well.

    Could be a bout of morality. They grade the whiteout, scribble, and blackbox versions.

    The way things are going today with litigation - maybe they're affraid of getting sued by some soccer mom who thinks this means that BGS is validating the card?image

    BGS coined the term Rick Face in 89. Possibly to keep mag. kid friendly. They grade 6 of the 15 versions that I have. Interesting card. Someday I hope to have a master set.
