US Coin Market VS. World Coin Market

Do you ever see the market (demand/prices) for World Coins catching up to the market (demand/prices) for US Coins?

Seems like there are lots of good "Values" out there if (when) it ever happens.

Your thoughts??

image For those willing to take a chance ,,, there is a great deal of profit available in the catalog upgrade that will reflect a fallen Dollar. With nothing else changing there could be a 30% price jump across the board, all else staying the same. If you can grab some of these rarer beauties at behind todays catalog price,,, it's almost like stealingimage

On a relative basis, yes. Coin collecting is getting increasingly common in Europe and
many countries. As the middle classes grow in the emerging economies there will be
increasing demand for coins. The internet is truly a world wide web now so coins can
be brought to the deepest bush and the driest deserts.

There is yet another huge change in world coinage going on. The last one in the mid
20th century was caused by the switch out of silver coinage to base metal coinage and
this one is being spurred by political considerations.

These are exciting times to be a dark sider or any sort of coin collector.
