  • How does the autograph thing work at the National. VIP members get a crack at signers first right? Do you pay for each person or can you pay a set fee and get everyone there to sign???

Some are included in the package while others are pay per sig.

It will be pretty much spelled out when the final guests are listed.

  • How long before the National do they put out a final list? The last National i went to was 2002 in Chicago and i didn't get any autographs then but i may get a few this year.

  • dbj77,
The VIP pass doesn’t get you first crack at the signatures not does it get you all of the autographs at the show.
It does get you some free autographs and it gets you into the show an hour earlier than the public. They do a separate entrance from the public and they give you some extra goodies and a place to sit.
At one time they allowed the VIP pass holders get there ‘graphs first and it caused a lot of chaos.
If you want to get your ‘graphs with less of a wait, then order your autograph tickets are early as possible. They take the orders and then assign them out based on a first come first out method. TraceCode will do a mass mailing at some point. In the pass I have usually put in my order a good 12 weeks or so before the show. The schedule is always in flux and last year they added and subtracted people about 2 weeks before the show. About 6 weeks before the show I actually put in a second order for the new people. That was a pain, but they added people I wanted. If you wait until the show to buy tickets, you end up getting triple digit numbers (unless the person isn’t that popular or overpriced) and that makes it had to get multiple graphs that are scheduled at the same time.

If you want more info, I can email you off line about my experiences over the years and last year with TracerCode, which get a decent job IMHO.
