Pandas

I have a 1/2 oz panda from 1983. I plan to try to sell it to buy something else.
Does it have any value over the gold content itself?
Thanks in advanceimage

If it is MIP (mint in plastic) as issued by the China mint and has no distracting copper spots, then it should sell at more premium than the other years. As to how high it will go will depend on how much the buyer wants it. Tried a search on eBay for 1/2 oz 1983 currently listed or just ended but did not find any. With gold at $406, I would WAG that you should get from $250 and up.
